Mali: The former President ATT has passed away
Mali is in mourning. The former Malian president Amadou Toumani Touré, known as ATT, is no more.
The General passed away in Istanbul, Turkey, this Tuesday around 2 am. According to the Rfm that gives the information, the deceased had gone to Istanbul a few days ago for medical care.
As a reminder, ATT was the President of the Republic of Mali from June 8, 2002 until the coup d'état perpetrated on March 22, 2012 by General Amadou Haya Sanogo.
